Peak experiences for all
Perfect for non-skiers, sun worshippers, deckchair loungers and lovers of panoramic views. Two kilometres of high altitude winter walking tracks are prepared daily. The summit of the Diedamskopf, at an altitude of over 2,000m, can be reached in an easy 15 minute stroll. The views are amazing.
Didi's Kinderland Adventure Centre
Something very special awaits our tiniest guests on the upper floor of the cable car top station: in an area of over 300 sq. metres the children can play and draw under supervision, whilst their parents relax in the deckchairs provided and enjoy the fabulous panoramic views. A special children’s programme is available every Wednesday afternoon!
Perfect for paragliders
Diedamskopf – The fliers’ mountain
It’s not only the view that makes the Diedamskopf so popular among visitors to the Bregenzerwald. It has also made quite a name for itself among paragliders and hang-gliders as the fliers’ mountain. And rightly so. This is the ideal place to take-off for long-distance flights towards the Lech valley and the Arlberg region. The very best flying conditions are normally from October to March. During this period it is possible to land directly in the car park at the bottom station of the cable car, right next door to Hotel Elisabeth. Due to prevailing valley winds, conditions can be somewhat turbulent in summer. If you are interested in further information please contact the Bregenzerwald flying school at www.gleitschirmschule.at
Diedams Fun Park
Everyone - beginners, professionals, snowboarders and Freeskiers alike – can have fun here in what is the largest snowpark in the area. And there’s something new every day: the Diedamspark Fun Park is subject to daily supervision by a four-man Shape Crew from the Quality-Parks (QParks) company. From Rails to Boxes, from Easy to Medium Kickers – everyone has a chance to find his or her own "line".
Nighttime skiing & tobogganing
Nighttime skiing and tobogganing is possible every Wednesday and Friday at the Grunholz lift in Au, with the drag lift operating from 19.00 to 22.00. As well as soft drinks, “Dutch courage” is available in the form of mulled wine and grog at the “Lifthüsle”. Car parking is possible next to Au council offices as well as by the lift. Nighttime skiing sessions are also served by the ski bus.
