Our rustically furnished Schrannenhof restaurant comprises two cosy parlours and a traditional rustic bar. We also have two terraces with deck chairs, for year-round relaxation.

Summer opening hours

Open from 17:00 with snack menu, home-made cakes, apfelstrudel and ice creams.  
Dinner menu from 17:30. Hot food until 20:30.

Closed: Sundays and Thursdays

Winter opening hours

The restaurant is open daily from 10:00. Hot food from 11:45 to 15:00.
From 17:30 to 20:00 why not indulge in our à la carte menu?

Closed: Sunday and Thursday evenings
Hot food until 15:00. On Sundays and Thursdays the restaurant closes at 17:00.

Great hospitality in an outstanding hotel!

Following the trend of "no complaints is praise in itself" we normally never submit hotel reviews. But we agreed that the Schrannenhof had really deserved a good report. We felt really at home there, and next time will certainly stay for more than just one night.

A really fabulous holiday.

This was our second stay in the Schrannenhof. The Zündel family and all the staff members are really lovely und very obliging. Our apartment was exactly as it had been described, very spacious and beautifully appointed. The food in the Schrannenhof was once again sensational! This was the reason for our second visit. We would have no reservations about  recommending the Schrannenhof.

Excellent!

It really surpassed our expectations. We thought the rooms and public areas were very welcoming, and incredibly comfortably furnished in a modern interpretation of the traditional Alpine style. The service was extremely friendly and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The hotel’s location 100m from the bottom station of the cable car was perfect. Absolutely great value for money.

Everything was brilliant - we'll be back!

We stayed in a holiday apartment approx. 70m from the Schrannenhof and felt very much at home there. The apartment was functionally furnished and just the right size for 4 persons and a dog. The location is first rate: the bottom station of the cable car, the village and the walking trails are all quickly and easily accessed on foot. The Schrannenhof and its staff can only be recommended further!!
